I started sharing on social media in 2016, not to build a following, but to document and share my learnings in psychology for millennials while preparing for the psychologist board exam. At the time, it was simply a way to make sense of what I was studying and to put insights into words, with no expectation that it would reach beyond a small circle. There was no long-term plan, no branding, and no anticipation that it would become anything more than a personal space for learning and reflection. During the pandemic, the platforms grew unexpectedly. What became clear then was not the reach, but the need for mental health support. Many Filipinos were looking for accessible, understandable mental health information at a time when professional help and reliable resources were difficult to access. The growth was never intentional, but it revealed a gap that needed to be filled. Since then, the work has continued to focus on sharing psychology in a way that is grounded, responsible, and available to people who may not otherwise have access to it.
